    Simon Tucker Group

SIMON TUCKER first picked up a guitar at age 11, after hearing Cream’s version of ‘Crossroads’, and knew he wanted to play electric blues. At 13, Simon formed his first band, which blended traditional blues tunes and classic rock covers. Over the next seven years Simon developed his own songwriting and played in groups that ranged in genre from Reggae to psychedelic rock. In 2003 Simon met drummer Bill Wilcox and began the journey back to his blues roots. Bassist Rollie Hallen joined the pair in 2007 to form the Simon Tucker Group. Visit Simon Tucker on the web.

    Corn Mash

    Corn Mash

Corn Mash is the Moscow, ID based project of singer/songwriter Bill LaVoie. Originally formed in Seattle in 2003, The music of Corn Mash is a mix of original rock, swing, blues, country, punk, funk, and bluegrass. The subject matter is cynical, glorious, angry, sweet, dirty, and sometimes absurd. It's all fun, and there's nothing quite like rock with rippin' ho downs in the mix - good melody and imagery even if screamed. The band's lineup includes Bill LaVoie (guitar/vocals), Joe Evavold (Hammond/Accordion/Clav), Ryan Gibler (bass), and Bennett Barr (djembe). Their CD Another Sure Thing released in February 2005 is a variety of originals featuring several talented guest musicians on banjo, harmonica, bass, drums, backup vocals, and saw. But what you will never hear is this band trying to sound like anyone else. Their straightforward, no gimmicks, rock-solid approach is showcased with the kind of strong lyrics, hard-sell vocals, and deft guitar playing that not only makes you listen, it makes you believe!
